A Place in the US

I think I would like to visit Hawaii. Hawaii is the 50th state in the US. The main cities are Honolulu, Hilo, Kailua, Kaneohe, and Waipahu. It has a population of about 1, 300, 000 people. It is nicknamed The Aloha State. Their motto is “Ua mau ke ea o ka aina i ka pono”. I would get there by plane or I might go by boat if I fly to San Francisco first. I think I would prefer plane.
Hawaii is best known for its beaches, flowers, palm trees, waterfalls, luaus, and tropical islands. Hawaii is the 19th most visited state! The weather is very dry from April to October. The weather, recently (February), has been in the high 60s and low 70s. In July it is 73 to 87 degrees. Hawaii only has two seasons, winter and summer.
I would take shorts, T-shirts, and bathing suits. I think the beaches will be beautiful and it will be very relaxing. I also think I might try snorkeling. I want to see some of the reef, too. I can't wait to stay in the tropical resorts!

The Beginning of Into the Wild

Into the Wild
This book is written by Jon Krakauer. It was published in 1996. The book talks about a two year journey in the wild (1990- 1992). This book was based on a true story. It is about a man named Christopher McCandless who survives in Alaska on barely anything. He changes his name to Alexander Supertramp. I really looking forward to reading the book. Have you read it? I would suggest it, it sounds like a good book to read.
